Julián Cifuentes
Data Scientist | Consumer Behavior & Decision-Making Analytics
Behavior analyst and data scientist working at the intersection of consumer behavior, computational modeling and data science. My work combines experimental research with technical tools such as Python, machine learning and natural language processing to understand the behavioral patterns behind consumer choice.
I am a psychologist trained at Fundación Universitaria Konrad Lorenz. I hold an MSc in Computational Neuroscience and Cognitive Robotics from the University of Birmingham and I am a doctoral candidate in Behavior Analysis at Southern Illinois University, where I study how reward cues and delays alter impulsive behavior. I currently work as a data scientist, I build Python and SQL pipelines, customer segmentations with clustering, and language models (BERT, GPT-4) to classify purchase data at scale.
